Mr. Chesson: Writing a Press Release including a bold or unusual claim I had not considered. My attempt without your comments would have been boring and a waste of my time. I will attempt to include and follow your suggestions. This was very informative, a learning experience.

In reply to Marianne Rosen. Hi Marianne, the body of the press release should be justified to the left margin. You may centre the headline and sub-header text if you wish. I'm an author and have marketing and PR experience gained in the UK market.

Would you centre the text? Is there a difference between UK and US expected standards? Would it be possible to see a finished example to show rough size, layout etc?

I’ve read guidance that you should do a series of press releases, including one when it becomes available on pre-release at an initial promotional price, one when the discount price ends, and one when it is actually released. Any guidance on this or resources?
