My attempt without your comments would have been boring and a waste of my time. I will attempt to include and follow your suggestions. This was very informative, a learning experience.

Thanks.

Hi Marianne, the body of the press release should be justified to the left margin. You may centre the headline and sub-header text if you wish. I’m an author and have marketing and PR experience gained in the UK market.

I’m not really sure. I don’t have explicit experience working UK PRs.

Is there a difference between UK and US expected standards? Would it be possible to see a finished example to show rough size, layout etc?

If you have an angle that will make your PR stick (like it was discussed in that article) then submitting multiple could help if the first time doesn’t stick.

Any guidance on this or resources?

Thanks! I did not get any help and released what I had already.
If you still want to look at what I have, you can see what I’ve put out here: http://sbaethge.blogspot.co
If you have any free tips on how I could improve it I’d be grateful to hear.

Is anyone willing to look over it for me and give their opinion on what I have before I try to send it out?

Yeah, it’s weak. I thought of another I’m still tweaking and will try it out. Thanks for all the advice. This is fun and lighting a fire to not give up on promotion!

That sounds like a good angle, but not sure that will bring the bravado to get wide legit dissemination and equate to sales.
