Thanks and glad you liked it. As for your question, Amazon actually says they use the Look Inside to index books. So, it should help.

Could this also apply to the book contents as well as the description?

I once read from an indie publisher’s blog that one advantage in allowing a look-inside preview of the first couple of chapters of your book is that Amazon will then scan the entire contents of the book and factor the results into its search result ranking. Is this true?

Thanks again for all you do!

You know, I’m actually writing a full article on exactly that. But the short and simple answer is: I like to keep 2-3 boxes the same (usually the best phrases from experimenting) and then change the other boxes to reflect more of the specifics to each book. Before that article comes out though, I first need to publish the article on how to experiment with keywords the right way so as to figure out the best ones. So much to write, and so little coffee…haha.

If I have a series, how important is it to use the same Keywords? Or doesn’t it matter? Thanks for all you do!!

I appreciate your style, content, user-friendly approach, concisely summarized but very through research results and the way you present your tools, information, and findings in a simple manner. I am one of those fearful individuals that avoids and procrastinates but the on-going relationship building and fabulous author tools you have developed and continue to refine, update and expand on have been life savers to me. Thank you so much. This a wonderful article and lays out the how-tos so clearly. I am energized to revive my book. It would not be happening, I predict somewhat effectively, without your products and advice. Again, thank you!

One of the things I found from the experiment in this article (https://kindlepreneur.com/7-kindle-keywords/) is that if a word or phrase is in one of your 7 kindle keywords, Amazon will work to index for all the combination of the words in that phrase. But I can’t say for sure if that works for Book Descriptions.
