(And yes, a bit too expensive quite honestly!) One thing which really appealed to me about Moo is the option to have a different image on the back of each. For those of us with different books / projects / lead magnets, that can be a fun feature. People I talk to seem to enjoy choosing which card they’ll pick.

I think so….makes sense and would make your card more valuable.

Do you think this is a good idea for the business card as well? Thank you!

First, thanks for your honesty on that. As for your question, it can definitely help and that would be neat, but with an old generation, the idea of doing something like that might be off putting.

If you had this type of card you would never have written sentences like “Uh oh ¦I didn ‘t have any. I had actually run out.” and “But imagine if he’d lost that piece of scrap paper” (which can also happen with a paper business card) 😛
To send a digital business card you only need a smartphone and you are pretty sure that the recipient will add your data to his/her address book because he/she needs only a click.
P.S.: in full onesty, I’m the founder of Kipin – The Digital Business Card (https://kipin.in) 🙂

If you’re not aware of those yet, I recommend you check out BookFunnel`s “print codes”. They’re a pretty cool way to supplement your business card with a little card offering a free download of your book: https://authors.bookfunnel….

It had her photo and a photo of her book cover on the front along with her social media accounts for Twitter and Instagram. On the back, it had a QR code that connected potential readers to her Amazon book page. She said she found them more useful than she’d realize as a way to get people access to her book when she did not have any with her.It was helpful to have her photo be the same one that she uses on her social media accounts and equally helpful to have her social media accounts to have the same @name. The cohesiveness in colors and simplicity of the words that were on her card gave the words that we did use a greater impact! It was a beautiful combination of her relaxed personality and encouraging book topic with the serious technological connection that is the point of a business card in the first place.
